Irish Music

The harp is the national symbol of Ireland, and I have several harps that you can choose from when planning Irish music for your event. The harp pictured above is my 26 string “lap” harp (although it can be played standing, as well). It is wonderful for traditional Irish tunes, but not as versatile on classical or popular music. I can also play Irish music on my two larger harps, pictured below. The sound on these harps is fuller, and they can play all kinds of music, but they are not, alas, green!

Here are some sound samples with the harp playing them notated:

Farewell to Liverpool (largest harp)
The Gentle Maiden (largest harp)
The Lark in the Clear Air (largest harp)
The Parting Glass (medium harp)
